I am a converted Nikon shooter and I'm trying to determine if I can set the back dial to adjust ISO rather than just be a duplicate of the aperture adjustment? When I shoot in aperture priority, I like to be able to quickly control my ISO and aperture like I previously could on my D810, but I cannot determine how to make this happen on my A7Rii. Obviously this cannot be done in manual mode but it was certainly nice in priority modes. Can anyone else with a solution here? The menu in this camera is a beast. Thanks!
You can assign ISO to the rear control wheel.
Go to "Custom settings", Menu 7, Custom Key Settings, Set the Control Wheel to ISO. Turning the rear control wheel will then immediately change your ISO in all modes (PASM)i.e. also in manual mode.
