Lightroom is FREE for 30 days.

DPP4 won't do lens correction on his sigma lens, which is critical when he has 18-35mm lens zoomed out.

But the main reason why i say lightroom is because of the wealth of training materials available online and free on youtube.  Having a tool is one thing, but it's worthless if you don't know how to use it.

Lightroom is also better in several other ways, but DPP4 does allow you to edit canon raws for free.  Once you go through the tutorials on how to use lightroom, it's pretty easy to adapt to DPP4 to accomplish what you've learned.
