G9 X the best replacement for a Panasonic LF1?

I love my LF1's compact size and zoom, but would like better low light performance.

I am not going to try self repair, since I for sure do not have the tools, nor probably the skill.

I found a camera repair shop in my city yesterday and brought my camera in. The guy thinks that there might be dust not in the lens but on the sensor. If that is the case, he will charge me $80+ to fix it, which I will authorize.

I still may get the G9 X; its a tough compromise...
