Whaaaaaat?? put your cursor on the image, it tells you the exif...... f1.4

Perhaps you don't know "bokeh". The scene is NOT flat!! I am testing the lens to a more extreme condition.

I am not interested to see the bokeh when the subject is less than 1 meter away from the camera. I know in my mind both lens will do well.

I know you are impatient but please do navigate around to find the answer you seek. Everything is in that thread!

Perhaps someone else can help me explain to you why I shot the subject about 4 meters away to test the bokeh...

The flickr link in this thread was link to me by JACS. My test simply confirmed the sigma couldn't handle bokeh in harsh condition.

cheers

I apologise. We clearly got off on the wrong foot. Thank you for sharing the links. I see now the other tests that you did.

Personally, I don't think there's much between all three lenses, and in the real world I doubt anyone would be able to tell one from the other in terms of sharpness and bokeh in a printed image. Pixel peeping, perhaps, but not in a photo. I think all three are excellent lenses.

Cheers,

Mark.

p.s. The reason I didn't see the exif data previously was because I wasn't aware of it being on here. My mistake. I apologise.
