Pah. Yes, that's right, that's what's going on here - I'm a "Sigma defender" even though I OWN the Canon 35mm f/2 IS... Yes, you're right, it's me that's being overly defensive with brand here. My statement "Sigma bokeh is no match for 35L II!" gives me away.

What information was in that post you made to those god-awful crops btw? There was just a link to a flickr page with corner crops of images which look like they were taken at maximum ISO. Or did I miss something?

What you did in your post is pixel peeping too. Honestly, who compares images in 100% in real life if he or she isnt pixel peeping?

Eh? How on earth do you work that out? I posted FULL FRAME images of the ENTIRE photographs so people could see the background:foreground separation.
