I think that the M10 is a product in the same category as the original Rebel, yes it was a 10D in a plastic body, but it made the DSLR into something everyone had to own.

ISO 25600 @ 10 mm, how is your 1" sensor at that?

I wouldn't scoff at the 1" sensors so much.  Based on sensor area, your 700D only has a 1.5 stop advantage over a 1" sensor.  Also consider that some of these cameras utilize f1.8-2.8 lenses which put them on par, or better, than your 700D with a kit lens.
