Re: E-PL6 kit for $299 - the best mFT entry level deal?

My personal picks whenever someone asks:

- Canon S110/S120. These sometimes dip into the mid $100s, especially after they're bundled with printers and other stuff. There are fatwallet types who buy every piece of a bundled kit, get the rebates, and then sell the individual pieces for profit - I picked up an S110 for my sister two years ago for $150. Good option for something cheap and pocketable.

- Panasonic LF1. Slightly bigger, slightly longer zoom, I've seen it for <$250 new on sale.

- Olympus XZ-2. Based on my XZ-1, probably the best lens in any compact. A bit sad no XZ-3 ever came out. Olympus has it on sale for $300 every so often. Not quite pocketable, but otherwise a very nice compact camera.

- Canon G16. Bright, long lens for someone who still wants a camera to fit in a jacket pocket and doesn't want to mess with additional lenses.

But yes, the E-PL6 is a phenomenal deal at $299. Almost as good as the $349 I spent on my E-PM2 two lens kit 2 years ago. If you look on eBay, there was a dealer selling the E-PL6 2 lens kit for $399 (normal price) with an $80 Visa gift card and a small SD card. That's a stellar deal.
