You might be surprised at its quick reflexes, I know I was. Of my native m4/3 lenses it focuses on par with the 12-40 and perhaps a product of the longer focal lengths appears to be even faster, as the transition from OOF to focused is abrupt. Nothing else in my kit comes close. Because of the internal zoom it retains the balance center on zooming, which for me negates any heft disadvantage. And on that topic, since it's a partial substitute for my 35-100 SHG it seems like that lens' skinny little brother-a little fellow.

I don't have the MC14 but from what I see from Vass and others, it's a great addition and I wouldn't hesitate to add it.
