I take that as insult as You don't understand what I have been writing multiple times with accurate means to see it. And then You claim I am delusional....

As I said before, there is no reason not to believe that the fellow's camera is working just fine.

I think the issue here is not one of your delusion (apparently you are safe there), but that this entire time you have been talking about an effect that only takes place for an instant while the camera is displaying the previous capture during a rapid sequence.

It would have helped a great deal if you had mentioned early on that you had to hold the shutter down in order to see the effect. Nonetheless, I'm glad to see that it has now been reproduced by others.

I can hardly imagine this is an intended feature since 1) the overlay occurs over old data (the previous capture), 2) it occurs when using either PDAF or CDAF (in C-AF + Seq H of course) and 3) it occurs for such a short amount of time.
