As I want to have a greater zoom range, than the CANON 55-200, but still want to have a lens that starts in the 18 range, my concern is which lens would give me better pictures, with a greater focal length?

SIGMA 18-300mm F/3.5-6.3 DC MACRO OS HSM

CANON EF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS

SIGMA 18-250mm F3.5-6.3 DC Macro OS HSM

SIGMA 18-250mm F3.5-6.3 DC OS HSM

Or maybe any other suggestion.

none of these lenses will be able to provide better photos than the lenses you already have ... the benefit of the superzooms you have mentioned is a lighter load, but they give up image quality to fit all that zoom into one lens ... your lenses are probably the best you can get for most situations without spending thousands on L lenses ...

you already have 250mm ... 300mm isn't much more ... see for yourself ...

so really it's up to you ... take one lens that covers it all ... stick with what you have for great quality and no additional cost ... spend quite a bit more for the chance at better photo quality ...

hope this helps ...
