Ricoh GR

I got this camera - it was about the price of the PanaLeica 1,7/15mm in July. (540 EUR)

Results are even better than expected, better color roll off, better micro contrast and sharper than the GX7 plus 1,7/20mm. It is an ideal landscape camera and weighs a little more than a third of the gx7+20mm combo (240g).

Here a few negatives:

I missed the EVF, but not as much as anticipated, the LCD was nicely visible except when there was direct sun on it. Also the LCD is unreliable and often shows too low or to high exposures. Don't correct exposure too much.

Because of the retractable lens the camera is vulnerable to dust and rain.

Also, if you want to get the best sunset colors, change WB to daylight, auto WB will correct away the red colors.

But in spite of all this, whenever I look at holiday pictures, the wow landscapes are usually taken with the GR.
