I've never experienced any watercolor effect. Did you see any of that in my Alaska gallery?

Overall pics in your Alaska Gallery look good mainly due to you doing a good job of filling the frame with main subject, reduced images to small size, sparse use of longer tele focal lengths, and keeping the ISO down.

Did not see much as to "watercolor effect", but even at the small images sizes could see noise deteriorating finer details; e.g., the Bull Moose shot -- as in the Moose's fur and pine trees branches/ needles.
