Re: Pocketable m/43? or just pocketable?

no reason to get an epm1 other than cost

rx100 has reliability issues imo, mine switches on its own and is infuriating and the highlights seem over exposed. Once you use a touch screen on the gm1 or emp2 you will wish you had it on the rx100. with rx100 you need a grip more so than the GM1. rx100 is slippy, no battery charger.

Epm2 is nice and has decent jpegs superior to sony and panny straight out of camera. no decent focus peeking and really loud shutter! some get shutter shock

GM1 is great all round but has its quirks, flash sync speed, no mechanical shutter with legacy lenses. fidly dial but i find it ok. its soo small ergonomics maybe an issue, battery life is not great with little warning when it dies.

I use all 3 for different things, but mostly rx100 for portability and where i dont want to have too much camera. GM1 mostly gets picked for other stuff but epm2 i think may have the edge in quality or low light and usability

you need spare battery for all imo.
