Pocketable m/43? or just pocketable?

There's a lot of discussion about Sony RX100, which is neither m/43 nor does it have interchangeable lenses.  If you are looking for truly pocketable (drop into your jeans or shirt pocket) with reasonable quality, there's no need to consider m/43. On the other hand, if you want to take more than just crisp snap shots - i.e. use ultra wide angle, or portrait, or telephoto with good DOF - then you'll want to consider the smaller offergings of mirrorless cameras - and m/43 does offer excellent choices.  As I said, I use the E-M10 with 20mm f/1.7 pancake which I can drop into my blazer pocket.  I can keep the 75mm f/1.8 in another pocket - or the 12-40 f/2.8, which has a similar size.  In both cases, it's no longer 'truly pocketable' but it sure is small.  I can also carry my entire kit in one of those travel vests from Ex Officio.

So - yeah - depends on your needs.
