Re: Dear Samsung, please make an EX3
I used to like the sort that was a loose fit over the lens and just pushed off if left on. I used to worry with the EX2f how many lens locked errors you could have before damage was done. I often forgot and there was no harm so they may survive. It was a bad migration of ILC practice on to a compact. Much better if the cap locks in to the moveable lens element so it comes out with the lens.

I love my EX2, but I'm always a tad let down by the low light IQ.
I have a couple of trips coming up, and the thought of bringing the NX with prime lenses is a drag even though that would be optimal handling/responsiveness/IQ.
So, Samsung: please make an EX3 which is essentially EX2 form factor (doesn't need to be as small as G7X/RX100 but a bit smaller than LX100 would be nice), with the 1in sensor from NXmini (PDAF if convenient),
Thanks!
Exactly my thoughts, in addition get rid of the manual lens cover. I long for a EX3...
Yeah... people complain about the lens cover on G7X and RX100 being easily damaged, but for what it is -- a P&S -- it really ought to have a built-in cap.
That said, the free-standing cap on EX2F doesn't bug me that much.
