Unless I'm mistaken...

I was wondering if the low-light performance was so impressive because the two IS systems were were working in tandem- i.e. the Oly's IBIS coupled with the Panasonic's OIS- but then I read a post on here the other day that suggested the bodies/lenses were configured so that only one IS would be in operation at at time to avoid conflicts?

at least with current bodies, you never want to mix IS systems. Actually, I'm not sure you can mix and match currently...I'm presuming if you use an Oly body with an OIS lens, one of the IS is by default turned off? Anyone?

In any case, this may change when dual-IS becomes the norm (assuming, as I do, that Oly would implement dual-IS sometime in the future).
