Re: Looking for a small pocketable m4/3 solution...

I played around with the EPM1 and thought it handled really well! I think it would pair better for a travel camera with the smaller Oly 17/2.8, but the 20 you are planning to start with is faster and better (but I prefer the FL and other stuff about the 17... but that's me).

Regarding the sensor, it's the same as in my E-P1 and I get fantastic photos from that body still.

My daughter has an EPM2 and it's definitely nice, but don't think it blows away the EPM1 for image quality and AF in the EPM1 is already very fast as it is.

I kind of like shooting modest gear.

I just missed out on a cameta camera EPM1 refurb deal a long time ago.

If it wasn't for the size, I'd almost recommend getting an E-P1 or E-P2. They go for a song and the more "flagship" designs are still an absolute joy to use. Still shooting mine anyway and still happy. The price drops on the original OM-D's are getting temping for an upgrade... but haven't jumped.

Regarding lenses, I was never thrilled with the P14/2.5. I have one somewhere, but never use it. I love my working set of Oly 17/2.8, Oly 25/1.8 and Oly 45/1.8 -- great classic set of primes!

Good luck! Really, you can't go wrong!
