Is the screw missing at the end of one the bayonet flanges? That's what stops the adapter from turning more than its normal distance.

The adapter really should stop when the camera's lens locking pin falls into the hole drilled into the back of the adapter.

The tiny screw was not there but I used it from my another M4/3 adapter ... nothing changed.

The adapter does not turn counter clockwise at all, as my other adapters do.

This is strange.

Don't force it, you might cause damage to the tension fingers which can be the source of further problems with other lenses.

I compared three flanges of this adpter with flanges on my other adpaters. Two flanges are shorter and one is longer than flanges of "normal" adapters.

The photos I see of this adapter do look a bit unusual.
Is it possible it's marked wrong or maybe it's for 4/3 not micro 4/3 ?

I don't have any 4/3 equipment and not sure just how different/similar the mounts are ... ?
