Re: 1200D / T5 HSS (High Speed Sync)

Good day everyone,

I'm up to buying a new speedlight and I'm thinking about the Yongnuo YN 560 IV over the YN 560 III for it has wireless master mode and High Speed Sync (HSS) capability.

However, I'm wondering if the T5 / 1200D actually supports HSS flashes? I could not find reliable information using Google or the manual.

Thank you!

HSS isn't a camera feature it's a flash feature.

That said the yn 560 doesn't have ttl. yes it can fire multiple times in quick succession for HSS capability but you have to set it up manually.

Which the average 1200d owner is never gonna do.

Yongnuo does have TTL capable flashes. these are the yn 568 EX flashes. They will only have that capability with the 1 system it's sold for. A canon version will not TTL on a Nikon body or the other way arround.
