In Lightroom (& other image editors) i'm constantly finding im having to lower exposure compensation by quite a bit (in Lightroom as much as -0.40) everytime just to make the images look usable, but often they just end up looking unusable and binned.

I've tried resetting all the cameras settings a few times and it makes no difference, and so i don't think it's caused by the settings.

This happens in all the modes too, i.e Aperture mode and shutter speed mode, as well as the more auto modes of program or Auto.

It's got to the stage where in good light i have to keep the EV at least -0.6 for outdoors for all photos, but then trying hard to remember to reset it to zero for indoor shots.

Has any body else had experience of this problem too, or any ideas what might be causing it?

Thanks.
