T6s-760D Poorly Designed Features

I recently upgraded my heavily used T3i to the T6s.  I appreciate the small improvement in resolution but the design of the T6s is a big step backwards.  I wonder how many of these units Canon expects to sell and why they did not invest the time in resolving the user issues.  I have listed a few and keep finding more.  I do not think any of these reflect just my personal preferences.  I consider these to be design defaults which impact the use of the camera.

The off-on switch also has a movie mode position.  It is difficult to switch on the camera without activating the movie mode.

Adjustment of eV is difficult.  You must select the proper Q setting and then rotate the back wheel.  To rotate the back wheel it is necessary to apply downward pressure.  The wheel also has rocker functions so downward pressure is likely to activate one of those settings.  This is true for any use of the back wheel including eV adjustment.

I suppose some photographers like the touch screen.  I have not found a use for it and it definitely has a downside.  When my camera is around my neck, it will not time out and turn off.  Instead the touch screen beeps and keeps the camera from turning off.

I tried to use the bulb setting and found I now need a separate lighted timer.  For my T3i, the bulb time was visible on the back screen.  Canon moved that to the top lcd screen which is not lit and cannot be used at night.  There is a button to light the screen but that would move the camera and it times out in a few seconds.

I think this camera is in serious need of some firmware updates to correct these issues.
