Sounds like you had a really good time at Dresden.
I wish I had more time for sight seeing. It is a very nice place. The week I was there, there weather is quite bad. But I am glad that it give a very dramatic sky for my photo.
Sigma camera (or the way I use it) seems to be perfect for the details and texture of these very nice building and architecture.
My photo of the great church is not as nice as I hope so I didn't share it. But aster reading your post, I just add this one for you:
