A very capable and easy to handle camera. Fantastic controls, look and feel.

Other people have done extensive and excellent reviews already about the X10 from people who are far more knowledgeable and talented than I: dpreview, steve huff, ken rockwell and others.
As there is little for me to add I'll keep this review very brief. We will be selling ours as we recently bought 3 cameras including a Pany GM1, so there is really no need or room in our lives to keep this one.
If the X10 were more pocketable, I'd keep it FOREVER. It's just that good, and a joy to use! It's got enough heft and size that I don't want to carry it everywhere. But, I brought it along to every party, event and trip and it has been GREAT! Just been a stellar camera for us.
It's got a great feel - it was clearly designed for photographers but is incredible easy and capable of taking fully automatic snapshots.
With the addition of a Wi-Fi card, you become free from cables. The Toshiba FlashAir III was a breeze to setup and works like a charm. The addition of an auto open lens cap was a must-have and some of the best $12 I've ever spent.
X10 you will be missed. I hope that Fuji releases a true pocketable version of something like the X30 - with a 4/3 or APS-C sensor. The sensor race has been on for some time now, and Fuji needs to get their act together on it.
This is a GREAT time to be buying camera gear. If your needs aren't extreme, it is a snap (pun intended) to pick up any number of fantastic Fuji cameras for very little money right now.. X10s often go for $170-225. XF1s may be had for $120-150, and even the fairly new XQ1 can be had for $135-150 (integrated wifi). The same idea could easily be applied to many other top brands - just pick something that doesn't have a big sensor or wifi and you will easily get a deal.
