It is...for sure, absolutely right up there. "The lord of the red rings" though is used fairly commonly to reference the 135L. Not sure what started it, might have been this digital rev video that made it popular, but I think predates the video.

The LoCA especially in high contrast situations and wide open is impossible to avoid. The Zeiss 85mm f1.4 planar is even worse.

Sure, it's much more controlled on the 135L though, still...that doesn't make or break a lens by itself.
