Funnily enough i was in a similar position with my 650D but went the other way and got the 70D. I too now have to get used to the power switch & mode dial on the wrong side and like the 750D it has no eye sensor! I was shocked to find this out and surprised i missed this fact...

Now that you're over the initial shock, does it affect your photography?

I need more time with it TBH but so far it's not been distracting in good daylight but it is noticeable in low-light & indoors. It doesn't affect my photography as such but it is annoying. I have it set to turn off when the shutter button is half pressed but you can't keep it pressed continuously!

We might be talking about two different "it"s. Do you mean the menu screen or the display of an image you just took?

It has no WB button either!

Yeah, nnD and nD cameras are biased towards raw shooting, and Rebels are biased towards JPEG shooting.

And that's the other thing, if it had a WB adjustment button like on the 7DII i could turn off the rear screen and just use the top LCD panel.

Do you use the Q button? You can have WB preselected so that you just press Q and spin the main dial. I do it that way for FEC on the 60D, for instance.
