It's a bit overblown that the 135 can't be used indoors. Even in a small house or venue I find it's serviceable.

You keep on saying this in every thread, but it is misleading.
No, you simply read into it whatever you want. I simply state that I have successfully used this lens indoors often, even in small areas, and provide samples. Nothing misleading about that. I have my experience and opinion, you can have yours. If you don't care for it I suggest you put on your big boy pants and get over it.
The 135mm 2.0 is a long lens. And If I decided to rely on that that lens during ,say ,corporate events, I would lose my job.
And when exactly did I say that you should use the 135L instead of say...the 24-70 f2.8 for such an event? Did I say that? Hmm....nope. If you decide to lose your job based upon something that I never said I won't be held responsible for it.
Even the 85 (even though much closer to normal view) is also many times simply too long for indoor work, if not carefully planned and with plenty of room to move around. That is just a fact.
It depends upon the work, which is the crux of my argument. It's silly to say "lens xxx won't work for all things indoors". If you are an event shooter (and I do shoot quite a few, btw) then you must decide for yourself what works for you or not, I simply provide MY EXPERIENCE and disagree with those who state unequivocally that the 135L is an "outside" lens. Having said that...in MY EXPERIENCE I have been able to shoot several events while using the 135L for at least part of the job, some of them it's been the main lens I used. Sometimes I use the 50, or the 24-105, or the 70-200....
