That's great, but i wouldn't get too hung up about it, to the extent that you start agonising over numbers and graphs. The 50L produces VERY strong vignetting wide open, and I confess it took me by surprise the first time I saw it, but I love it and shoot wide open a LOT.

Buy the lens you love, and work with it, get used to it, and use its features (including vignetting) to your advantage! Enjoy, don't fret...
