They are a local company, made in USA type, focused on hunting, but their optical experience and tripods are legit.

I no longer use them because they were a bit heavy duty for my tastes (despite being around 3 lbs), but nevertheless, I'd recommend considering this route if you are looking for durability. Great lateral stiffness, stable in gale force winds based on my experience. Much better than the Summit that I mentioned above, and others that I've used at similar prices, but also a bit different.  Rugged, like the E-M1 :).
