Want to have 1200mm?

I keep thinking that just for grins I should get one of the amazing superzooms such as these to play around with:

Nikon Coolpix P900 24-2000mm
Canon PowerShot SX60 HS 21-1365mm
Canon PowerShot SX50 HS 24-1200mm
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ70 20-1200mm

Yeah, you could instead buy a used Canon 1200mm f5.6 for $180,000 and a Canon DSLR since that is also an option:

Yes, I am just kidding, but really, that is sure a lot of money and although the IQ, of course, would be better in some situations it probably wouldn't be that much better. Shooting in raw the superzoom digicams can do pretty well. Also, you would almost need a truck and crane to move it around. The Panasonic can be bought new for under $300. I keep thinking that just to play around with a super long telephoto it might be fun and wouldn't cost much. Same for the SX50. Others cost a bit more.
