I am a neutral party here - not Panasonic oriented (though I have two of their lenses) and I don't like zooms. But I have been around here for a long time and clearly remember seeing test results on the 14-45: it really had a sterling reputation. The E-M5 is probably a hefty enough camera to handle the size of the lens. Whatever you don't get a lens with a plastic mount.
