I prefer the 650D's mode selector dial over the 700D's

The biggest noticable change/difference between the 650D/T4i and the 700D/T5i was the top right-hand shoulder mode selector dial.
On the 650 there is an end stop at the 'M' (Manual) end and at the "HDR Backlight Control" setting, on the 700 it just rotates fully around 360º with no stops. I personally prefer the 650D's way as with the end stops i know where the dial is just by the feel of the clicks in which ever direction without having to look. With the 700 i can only tell by looking away from the scene and glancing at the camera.
Also the 3 scene modes - 'HDR Backlight', 'Handheld Night Scene', and 'Night Portrait' come under one mode setting on the 700D's dial instead of seperate as on the 650 and although i hardly ever use these modes it's more user friendly and quicker to have it seperate without having to go through another menu system. Also by doing this you would think that the 700D's mode dial would have more space but it looks more cluttered with it's raised embossed icons than the flat printed ones of the 650 - also to my mind the raised icons will collected grime over time and be harder to clean.
Also i prefer the finish of the 650D's plastic body over the 700D's as the 650 is just a matt finish whereas the 700 has a rougher texture which i'm less comfortable with.
