You know, your experience with the Sigma 85/1.4 doesn't generalize to all Sigmas. I also had issues with the Sigma 85/1.4, which I think are particularly due to largely uncorrected optical aberrations.

No such problems with the 35/1.4 Art, save for a massive AF microadjustment. Precision though? Very high. Accuracy? Not so much.

But that's quite different from being 'rubbish'.
