As other said, since you have the small 35-100 and the 100-300, you have the focal lengths covered, so you don't need the 45-150.

However, it's a small and inexpensive lens, and sometimes you might not want to bring the large 100-300 lens, but have more reach than the 35-100, or you might be shooting on both sides of 100 (and don't want to continue to switch lenses).

I like my 45-150, even though I rarely use it. I have the 100-300 and 60 macro to cover that focal length, but it was so cheap when I got it, and I'm glad I did. As I hinted, there are times when I don't want to bring the 100-300 but my 60mm isn't long enough, as well as when I want to work in the 60-150mm range. But I don't have either of the 35-100s, so you might not have as much need as I do (which isn't much).
