Looks like the Sigma Art is not enjoying great enthusiasm in this poll, despite its admitedly great optics. Is it an unfair case of a bum rap? Doubt it. It's rather a case of a fair rap given its AF ills. One still largely gets what one pays for. Nevertheless many here remain in denial.

Well, that's your opinion, Mine would be that you don't know how to use your camera if you can't get the Sigma art series to AF correctly.

According to your "opinion" I don't know how to use a camera with the Sigma. But then, once I mount a Canon lens, I instantatly, as if by magic, know how to use the a camera. Funny how I "know" how to use the maligned, poor ergonomics EOS M camera, and consistently get sharply focused images with it, but then with a Sigma, my skills go out the window. Yeah, you know what you're talking about.

Here's a well-focused image with a Sigma Art lens. The previous and following shots? All over the place focus-wise, with no change except to press the shutter again. No change at all. It used to be that I needed to fire five shots just to get one to hit focus. RUBBISH AF CONSISTENCY!
