Considering Olympus M10/M10 II -lens choice?

Having read countless reviews I think I've more or less decided that my first mirrorless camera should be an Olympus M10 (or M10 Mark II), but I don't know much about suitable lenses.

For the time being I don't want to spend too much money on lenses so, would an Olympus 14-42 f/3.5-5.6 II R be a good "general purpose" lens? This would include indoor shooting, but I understand I can crank up the ISO quite high without much loss, right?

The M10 is also sold as a kit here with a 14-42 f/3.5-5.6 EZ lens for a very good price which is tempting, but I'm fed up with electronic zoom in my compact camera and much rather prefer manul zooming. I prefer a zoom since this will be for spontaneous shots of kids, family events etc. For vacations I might look into an additional, longer lens. So should I go for the "II R" lens above or are there other lenses to consider (either new or used)?
