50mm lens poll

50mm is too picky. I would consider 40 - 58 as being a normal lens With that if I could afford the Zeiss Otus 55mm f/1.4 I'd buy it in a heartbeat. If you wouldn't use it because its 55mm your really not interested in the best of the best IMHO.
Well its not that I excluded Zeiss because its 55mm. I truly wanted a poll on 50mm so I listed the ones I could find and also put category as "Other" for any other lenses. At that time I also did not know that Zeiss was 55mm. So its not like I have any dislike for Zeiss or anything for it being best or it being expensive. However to the benefit of those who pointed out about Zeiss, I tried to withdraw poll but I could not as it had one reply/comment etc. So I thought its not worth worrying about this and let people have in comments section how much they like Zeiss if they do. Having said that I also realized that Zeiss being 55mm anyway does not fit the title of the poll. So not a big deal anyway.
