At 1.4 the Siggy is pretty soft, better if the subject is closer and you focus on the eyes, you can get a form of sharpness but the rest of the image is soft and makes it look slightly out of focus.

As soon as you open it up a stop or two, she 'pops' into life ..... here's an example at 1.4

It looks soft but when you pixel peep, the eyes and lips are pretty good. It does have a dreamy look and I really like it on your son.

(also the siggy is one very big piece of glass .........)

It look Great... Dreamy like iam trying to get get with my pictures...

Its a beast compared to the fa 50mm....
