After the supercell: my best sundown ever.
13

After quite a few tornado's touched down and demolished some houses (with people in their house were lifted with house and all ans smashed down..with no injuries!) we had another round of supercells developping over us fro their intrance in British Canal...

At 18.00 hours I witnessed this "suspiscious subject" on the Oosterscheldedam near Hammen..

A possible wallcloud...again! After this I got litterally battered with wind and rain..in my car.

After this as I write above there were torrential rains with windspeeds at least approaching 100 km/h. As expected. But I decided to wait as it now was 19.15 hours and sun would set in 1,5 hours...It did so in a brilliant fashion with the moist from the storm leaving a mild soft light at first. Even nature can go overboard with saturation it seems as I toned some pics down. It was really contrasty at times.

All pics with GH4 (you knw, that cam mostly usefull for video...) and the 12-35 and 35-100 f2.8. One occasion the Samyang fisheye came in handy (full rainbow).

Toned down actually...This is the jpeg out of the cam.

Samyang at its best. Defished a bit but not much.

Very contrasty

I loved the light on the tiles in front and the sky. The windturbines are like sentinels. Love 'em.

The pic I like the most for its mildness and tonality. Wow...what an evening.

CC as always welcome!
