All on the outskirts of Sydney, Australia.
I take a mix bag of shots, infact I probably shoot every individual insect in different compositions and focus. Some I like to have the whole insect in focus, some the eyes, the whole head etc etc.

I assume in the others, you want to emphasize the head, or other part of the insect. But as with flowers, which is my interest, I find it more pleasing to view the entire object within the DOF.

Nonetheless, superb macro work, IMO!
