Surprising and promising !

Shame on me...
I must admit I took another screen for being the SCP but meanwhile thanks to all the reply posters here had managed to get it activated. Wow...that now makes really sense and is nice to operate.

Now having gone a little abroad with the E-PL5 and taking more & more pictures it starts to grow on me and I am getting happier every from day to day (Only in this aspect I may add )

Now having taken some comparison shots (non scientific approach - but ensuring all settings identical) I must admit that it is even better than my Sony SLT A57 which I believed to be good due to its rather low pixel count and APS-C sensor. Not in all situations that is but in general it is a thumps up for the Oly.

And also having carefully studied the E-PL6 & E-PL7 specs I feel I got myself a nice deal with the E-PL5. E-PL6 is not much different. E-PL7 is not much different either except it offers a new interface, other control arrangement but at heart same machines. Plus the E-PL7 is quite expensive I must say.

Below a few example shots. Only adjusted slightly gamma/resized/ and applied light unsharpen mask. No exif though as I also trimmed a bit. And of course downscaled. All originally shot in jpg FINE with ration set to 3:2 (My preferred due to the 35mm world)

Of course no work of Art clearly just a few shots.
