As the title says really, does the Nx10 still produce good images even at high iso for its age?
Baring in mind I will be buying one fo £98 with kit lens tomorrow...
Hi there!
Just last month I found myself an NX10, for slightly more than yours - £110 body and 18/55 kit lens, 6 month warranty - as an alternative to the NX3000, for occasions needing a viewfinder!
Certainly can't match today's best sensors at the top end of the ISO range, but plenty good enough for me at up to 400 or 800. I accidentally nudged the ISO button up to 3200 one time, so can show you this (full JPG, as produced by the camera)....

(Shot with the 16/50 PZ, for whatever difference that may make!)
Using the RAW file in Lightroom, even the noise in the shadows cleans up reasonably well - though your opinion of that may depend on how you want to use the image? Here's one corner of the noise-reduced JPG....

Perhaps the answer is to consider what your eventual package may look like? If intending to build up a collection of lenses around whichever camera you buy, then maybe go for something newer - but as a standone, or with just an extra optic or two, I'd say it represents remarkable value!

PS With reviews, it's often revealing to also check the one for the replacement model - as new features are often put into the context of previous failings. Thus, "The NX11 is a modest upgrade of last year’s NX10, with a revised handgrip, new panoramic mode, additional 1:1 and 16:9 ratios, and the incorportaion of i-Function capability, first seen on the NX100."

(Note his comment - repeating one re the NX10 - about turning on the start-up dust removal feature - probably worth doing, although it does slow one down a little)
In fact the NX10 got its own panorama feature added to the Scene mode list in a firmware update, and also (with lenses which have the requisite button) the i-Function capability.
Give us a shout if needed, but for details if yours isn't up to at least version 1.30 look here....
