What are your thoughts on a DNP DS80 dye-sub printer?

Hi,

I am thinking about getting a photo printer for home.  I am tired of taking nice pictures and just viewing them on the monitor and I would like to have something that I can hold in my hand.  My previous experience with printers was a bad one.  About 15 years ago I purchased a top of the line Canon inkjet that holds 6 different ink colors.  A set of ink cost about $90 and did not last very long.  I was also not so impressed with the print quality and wasted dried ink.

Since then I have not printed much other than occasional local 4x6's and a few Mpix orders.  I believe I am ready now to have a nice printer at home and will be printing much more often.  I wanted to know your thoughts on the DNP DS80 printer as it seems to be a very good value per 8x10" print.  One concern that I have is that it doesn't do matte, I see there is only glossy paper available for it.

-Thanks
