"Casual/walkabout" = use your kit lens.

For a more-serious walkabout, that includes landscapes, I like the EF-S 10-22mm. The 10-18mm option may be nice, and complement your 18-135 without overlap, but I know little about it.

My favorite people/pet lens is my EF 135mm f/2L, if there is room to use it.

My best all-around zoom is my EF 24-105mm f/4L. People, pets, sports, non-macro close-range, general shooting; it does it all

I use my EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS more than anything, but much of that is for specialized purposes. (See my signature lines, below; my working pair of cameras are 7D Mark II.) This is not a bad portrait lens, if there is not enough room to use the 135L.

I have generally avoided EF-S lenses, other than the 10-22mm, as they will not work on the full range of Canon SLR cameras. (I bought a 5D about a year after my first original 7D.) Your needs may vary.

I wear a badge and pistol, and make evidentiary images at night, which incorporates elements of portrait, macro, still life, landscape, architecture, and PJ. I enjoy using both Canons and Nikons.
