I'm enjoying my new D3300, my health is removing me from using my D700 like I did, so had to rethink my capabilities. I like the small lightweight body, and the kit lens. Getting used to the limited menu features and no buttons like my D700. But! i have to adjust!

I can no longer go for long hikes and or walks so my limited mobility is filled in with my new Nikon, been a Nikon user since 1988, and don't feel like leaving the fold.

Wasn't interested in mirror less nor other camera brands, i felt if Nikon couldn't provide me a useful camera time to give up photography.

I would have liked a D5500 but I put a dollar limit on myself and the D3300 fell right into it, its my first entry level Nikon besides my D70 in '04. Very satisfied.
