I'm sure you're old enough to remember the tag line for Bertie - all sorts

Indeedy - guilty as charged.

I tend to use my DPxMs as the backup and a variety of other cameras depending on what I'm out to photograph.

Nikon SLRs with a Sigma 100-300 for motorsports or birds - great AF, buffer, ruggedness, etc. I'll have one or two of the DPs for any more general shots - usually the 2 and 3

Either a Fuji XT-1 or Sony A7r for almost everything else with an assortment of MF lenses or a couple of Fuji AF lenses. Since I got the A7r the Fuji has been pretty much left on the shelf, not much smaller and doesn't give the "correct" field of view for the MF lenses or the resolution or DOF control. Again I'll take one or two DPs as above depending on how much space I've got left in the bag.

MF lenses range from 24mm up to 300mm - not much call for the latter as my MF skills are too rusty and the Nikons suffice for that range.

Nick

Tomorrow I'll be mostly shooting with my E-M1 and X100, the Merrills not being best suited to shooting aircraft and in low light (handheld).
