I have had both and I do nature photography. Both will do an excellent job.

If you like the rangefinder look, get the GX, if you wear eyeglasses like me, you might prefer the bigger viewfinder of the E-M10. If you are a Left Eye shooter, get the Olympus ( the touch screen on the GX7 will give you and your nose fits if you are left eyed). If you shoot jpg's only, I think the Olympus renderings are better. Like Raw?...I'd choose the GX7, Like to shoot primes?...It think the 3 axis stabilization of the Oly is a tad better. Do a lot of manual focusing?....the focus peaking on the GX7 is superior to the E-M10.

Ultimately, I sold the GX7 (I'm left eyed and had to turn most of the nice touch features off). It was either that or cut my nose off. I replaced it with a E-M5II and am happy.

Oh, BTW... I happen to prefer the Olympus menus and their Super Control Panel over the Panasonic UI.

I'm a left-eyed GX7 shooter and I think the tilting EVF was made for us! By tilting it up about 30 degrees my nose no longer touches the LCD screen and it solves the problem.

The tilting screen of the E-M10 deactivates the touchscreen when tilted and the evf is central.

One feature that I occasionally miss on Olympus compared to Panasonic is the in-camera panoramic stitching.

Miss it from the NEX, too
