Macro Photography on M43

Hi there,

I just started toying with macro photography and have a few questions. (FYI, I am using my Olympus 40-150 F2.8)

1.) The lens says it has a maximum magnification of 0.42x. If I use my teleconverter 1.4x, does this change the maximum magnification and if so by how much?

2.) Does the focal length I choose affect minimum focusing distance and magnification? Is it best to zoom all the way in all the time?

3.) I know M43 is great for macro shots because of the higher depth of field. I was wondering, is the "maximum magnification" on M43 similar to full frame? Or do we need to convert something the compare "maximum magnification" across systems and lenses?

Thanks for help,
