GX8 4K crop a real Bummer!

I am just a beginner.

If the G7 and GX8 both use 1:1 sensor pixel strategy for capturing 8 megapixels for 4K video, then would not the 8 megapixels be bigger in the G7, taking up a larger area of the M43 sensor? Wouldn't that argue for better 4K video from the G7?

I understand that there may be other variables. But would any of you speculate about whether the above hypothesis bears any weight?

I'm agonizing about what to buy for a two camera studio set up in my office for interviewing patients. I'm debating between two GX8's or two G7's. Anyone got a point of view about what I should choose?

Having shot GH4 4K video the past year+, the 2.4 total crop factor is a real hinderance, which lead to my interest in the NX1, which utilizes the whole 28mp sensor 16:9 sensor area without increased moire/aliasing. The just announced Sony 1" sensor RX-10 II does the same for it's stellar 4K (according to EOSHD.com's Andrew Reid, who's gaga over it and it's 24-200mm fixed f/2.8 Zeiss lens, + the astounding slo-mo features and resolution that way surpass GH4's). Not to mention a very good S-log color profile...

At any rate, unless the GX8 gets full sensor width 4K, no-go for me by further reducing the rang of my wider lenses - 7mm becomes a 9mm, 14 an 18mm.

I'm having trouble deciding between the G7 and the RX-10 II for my 4K "B roll" cam.
