I have GX7 which has IBIS, I'm just wondering, if the camera take it into account when choosing the right aperture, shutter speed, ISO base on light meter or do I need to manually set them? For example, if I'm in P mode and without IBIS the camera sets SS to 1/600, F2.0 and ISO 400, if IBIS is on (let's say 1 stop), does it decrease ISO to 200 or do I have to take it into account and adjust settings accordingly?

Sorry for this dumb question but I really don't have an idea as a newbie.

Thanks!

Easy to find out.

Use the camera with stabilisation off, then on, and see if anything changes with the settings.

But as said, all stabilisation does is to allow you to hand-hold at slower shutter speeds than normal.

Normal is usually said to be the formula.....

Minimum safe unstabilised shutter speed = 1/(35mm equivalent focal length).

That means slower than that speed you need a tripod or stabilisation turned on, with M4/3 at 30mm it would be 1/60 second slowest shutter speed as the limit, at 300mm it would be 1/600 second. The stabilisation may stretch that to say 1/6 second and 1/60 second respectively.
