2nd AF Test with the NX1 and 50-150 S Lens

Just did another NX1 test trying to figure out the best way to shoot runners coming at me. Here is what I found shooting raw: If there is a dark shadow over the face the NX1 will miss about 70% of the time. If the light in any way hits the face it will lock on. First test is just with me pushing the shutter button one click at a time zone af small, 1/1000, raw, af priority speed. It missed most of the time when my daughter Ashley had a shadow over her face and I had the evf blackout for about a 1/2 second. Now when I switch to autofocus release only the blackout was almost gone but the NX1 missed every shot. The best settings I found to nail almost all the shots and still shoot raw was single point, 8fps, raw, some kind of light hitting the face, accuracy priority. 50-150mm 2.8 lens @ 2.8 150mm I had to pay my daughter $5 to do this lol
